Yet again
loving my life.
i had a great weekend, extreme exhaustion, great food, great company. wine, great conversations, meeting and catching up with people, cakes, singing, gossiping with ziying (my cousin), hell i'm seriously sleep deprived!
enough of fun already, its time to focus on some of the goals i wanna achieve, especially building up my chest abs, and 6 pecs. dont be shocked because its really coming out soon. i also want to focus on acquiring financial wealth, read up about financial derivatives and instruments, and im gonna learn to do public speaking, like addressing a crowd like president obama does? haha, im serious on that.
on another note: this girl is freaking me out; we were just chatting normally when she said this to me:
Nurain: yeah,i dream about you day and night. i miss you soooooo much it hurts.
i have no feelings for you seriously. there is someone else in my heart..

Food is just the most awesome thing on Earth la. I love eating, and somehow something struck me while i was attempting to eat roti canai with just a knife this morning. Mainly because I was too lazy to take a spoon and fork, but something occurred to me this morning, that eating and life is not all that different.
Before we eat, we have to first decide what to eat, whether to go out or to eat in. Decisions in our lives that we make daily. But the decision making doesn't stop there, if we manage to get a restaurant then what should we order? There are so many stalls, all advertising that they have the best whatever. When we finally decide on eating something such as Char Koay Teow, we still have to decide whether we want to decide on chilli or no chilli, see ham or no see ham, or even mee or no mee. Life in some definitions, are a series of choices. We always have the free will to decide and choose any pathways that we take. Other people will try to tell us what is good and... (more)

I was unable to attend tutoring this week, but I am looking forward to hopefully making some progress with my kids next week. Working with my three fifth grade boys has so far in the semester been very challenging but I think I have been able to make some improvements, particularly in communicating with them. In the last week before break, they all got along (for the first time!) and we were able to play a game of cards all together without any incidents. Although I have been struggling a lot with getting them all to do their homework, all get along, etc., I think that I know them well enough now to make more of a difference with them both academically and personally in the upcoming weeks.
Mike Lawrence came into our class this week to talk about how he balances the budget for the Upper Adams School district. Despite my complete lack of understanding about economics/numbers in general, I found his presentation to be very interesting and informative. I've never really thought about... (more)
wangqianHarvesting
Harvesting is probably the best way (in any tier) to make a significant amount of money
above-and-beyond your tier level. Although the normal harvested raws don¡¯t fetch very
much money (with the exception of garden nodes), the rare raws or ¡°rares¡±9 can be quite
profitable. Even the tier-1 rares can fetch a few gps (recall that normal loot drops in tier-1
zones are a few cps).
Keep in mind, the normal raws for tier-1 to tier-6, other than garden nodes, will not have a
value for more than a few sps. The values I am listing here will only be true for ¡°garden¡±
nodes.

Played basketball for Currie. Lost all the games, though we didn't get trashed. Sports reps said that we did a lot better than last year. Yay. Currie boys won though, which is awesome. Touch rugby next week or something, and then there'll be football too. Don't think I'll be playing either ones. I'll probably just go to support the girls.
Cannot wait for intercollege squash next semester. Bek said that Currie didn't have a team last year. Found out that Louise also plays squash (Well, casually at least), so hopefully there's the 2 of us.
So the goal for this semester is to work on my stamina and play squash once a week. I've booked a court for myself for tomorrow afternoon. Gonna do some hitting.
The multipurpose hall where we played basketball had the wooden rungs at the end - the type that look like ladders but are mainly used for core training.
Need to do laundry and finish up work. I can do this! >:D
